Being a socially responsible and environmentally consciousbusiness is the foundation of Linjiang's mission. Linjiang has always believed that the production process of natural fiber materials should be eco-friendly and sustainable. Therefore, Linjiang strictly monitors and controls all production stages to minimize wastewater volume and prevent pollution.
Wastewater and insufficient use of raw materials have been prevalent problems in the textile industry for a long time. To change this situation, Linjiang sought to develop proprietary technologies and managed to minimize material waste. At the same time, Linjiang utilizes advanced equipment specialized in wastewater treatment to reduce sewage discharge. Linjiang always drives technological innovation with environmental protection in mind.

Low level of pollutants in wastewater discharge
The level of pollutants in wastewater discharged from Linjiang's ramie fiber production is minimal, especially since the chemical oxygen demand (COD) content is less than 1/5 of China's National Wastewater Discharge Treatment Standards.
High utilization rate of recycled water
Linjiang Ramie's daily use of recycled water accounts for 67% of the total amount of water used in the production.
High utilization rate of recycled fiber
The recycled fiber utilization rate is more than 50% of the total amount of fiber materials used in the production.
*COD (Chemical Oxygen Demand) is the measure of the capacity of water to consume oxygen during the decomposition of organic matter in the water. The higher the COD value, the more serious the pollution of organic matter by water.

EU Organic, NOP USDA Organic, GOTS certified
Organic fibers are always Linjiang's top choice. They save energy during production, reduce greenhouse gas and wastewater emissions, and prevent soil and water pollution. Organic fiber is the best choice for producers to achieve sustainable development and protect the natural environment.
Since 2009, Linjiang Ramie has been exploring the field of organic ramie. In 2011, Linjiang Ramie obtained EU Organic certification and GOTS certification* through Control Union**. With annual certification maintained since then, Linjiang Ramie has continued to develop as a trusted partner for organic ramie. In 2025, Linjiang further obtained NOP USDA Organic certification***, expanding its organic certification coverage for international markets.

*Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS): the worldwide leading textile processing standard for organic fibres, including ecological and social criteria, backed up by independent certification of the entire textile supply chain.
**Control Union (CU): based in the Netherlands, CU is a global company with expertise in certification, inspection, and quality services in the organic and sustainable agricultural, forestry, and textile industries.
***National Organic Program (NOP USDA): the USDA-administered framework that sets and enforces the national standards governing how agricultural products must be grown, handled, and labeled to be marketed as "organic" in the United States.
